Wagga Wagga Art Gallery and National Glass Gallery visit
The Art Factory crew visited the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery and National Glass Galley to see some fantastic exhibitions.
First up was the Glass Gallery with the National Emerging Art Glass Prize on display, showing the up and comers in the Australian glass industry. Next was the group exhibition ‘Walking Matters’, featuring some large sculptures and charcoal works.
Lastly the crew visited Michelle Hamer’s exhibition I Am Part Of A Living City. Michelle’s works were predominately hand stitched creations displaying street signs and different city-scapes, very enjoyed by the Art Factory’s Wayne Emerson, who is an avid stitcher.
The Art Factory welcomed 5 new artists into the studio this term. The artists have dived straight into playing with all mediums such as digital art, pastels, paint and pencils.
