Coming Up:

Bush Country

An exhibition by Scott Lea & Steven O’Hara



Bush Country was an exhibition created by Scott Lea and Steven O’Hara to be exhibited in Rainbow, Victoria, in November 2017. It is now back in its home town Wagga Wagga and is on display in the RCC Gallery.

Jacko Meyers Summer Bay & Beyond

Term 2 saw the opening of Jacko Meyers second solo exhibition ‘Summer Bay & Beyond’. It was a very successful exhibition with coverage from multiple local media outlets and the sale of many works. The exhibition featured portraits and landscapes inspired by Jacko’s favourite show, Home & Away.



Wagga Wagga Art Gallery and National Glass Gallery visit

The Art Factory crew with Michelle Hamer's 'I Am Part Of A Living City'

The Art Factory crew visited the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery and National Glass Galley to see some fantastic exhibitions.


First up was the Glass Gallery with the National Emerging Art Glass Prize on display, showing the up and comers in the Australian glass industry. Next was the group exhibition ‘Walking Matters’, featuring some large sculptures and charcoal works.


Lastly the crew visited Michelle Hamer’s exhibition I Am Part Of A Living City. Michelle’s works were predominately hand stitched creations displaying street signs and different city-scapes, very enjoyed by the Art Factory’s Wayne Emerson, who is an avid stitcher.



New Artists

The Art Factory welcomed 5 new artists into the studio this term. The artists have dived straight into playing with all mediums such as digital art, pastels, paint and pencils.

Coming up in Term 3


Term 3 brings two new solo exhibitions by The Art Factory artists Kellie Hulm and Wayne Emerson. Kellie is known for her extremely vibrant and large paintings, inspired by her travels. Wayne is working mainly with acrylic paint to create his paintings of everything from animals to stained glass windows.
