This Term in The Art Factory


The Art Factory group in Temora held a group exhibition in the Museum of Temora. It featured works of all 8 artists who work in the studio there. The exhibition was officially opened by Mayor of Temora Rick Firman. Congratulations to the artists Ivan, Richard, Jennifer, Lorraine, Steven, Peter, Paul and Luke.


The Art Factory started a Thursday studio group! We welcomed Damian, Laura and Anastasia into the studio.




Artists Steven O’Hara, Wayne Emerson and Lorraine O’Hara were successfully accepted for works to be exhibited in various businesses in Canberra as part of Ignite 7. Wayne & Steven’s works will be in the NDIS Centre, and Lorraine’s paintings are going to the University of Canberra’s Conference Centre. The works are being exhibited from the end of November to March 2020.


The Art Factory was accepted into the project Canned Art. Canned art is part of the Unusual Festival in Lismore and involves small artworks being dispensed in cans to the public!


On the 12th of December our End of Year Exhibition was officially opened! The show featured works from the 25 artists that worked in the studio throughout 2019.


And that’s a wrap for The Art Factory in 2019! We’ll see you in 2020 for many more exciting projects.
